BELLY DANCE CLASSES (BEGINNER - ADVANCED)
Desert Dance teaches all the basic core and traditional movements of belly dance. With a total of 6 levels you will learn a wide vocabulary of basic belly dance "Orientale" movements as well as traveling steps & turns common to the Egyptian-style "classic" cabaret dance and other styles of belly dancing. Props such as Veil and finger cymbols "zills" will also be incorperated into sessions. With full break-downs & step-combinations, it will improve your posture, flexibility, balance, grace, muscle isolation, and control. Each week we put these new moves into combos and string them together into an exciting choreography for a sense of feeling well rounded and most of all have fun!
Hot Yoga
Yoga Asanas (postures) practiced in a heated room to promote a clensing sweat and increased pliability while moving through practice. The sequencing of the class incorporates core work to build heat within the body while using long holds and deep breath. Suitable for all levels of practice. From beginner to advaced, students will explore their own personal edge. Internal and external benifits are immeasurable. A yoga mat is required.

Tribal Fusion
Tribal Fusion is a blending of basic elements of American Tribal Style, Egyptian Belly Dance, traditional folkloric dances, and such styles as pop & lock, hip-hop, Latin and Burlesque. Three levels will
cover core Tribal movements (through technique breakdown and drilling), layering, building combinations and choreography, improvisation, musicality and stage craft, and (in the final level) cover such topics as protecting the spine and floor work. Warmup and light conditioning will
also be included.
